EF - EDUCATION FIRST: YOUTH FORUM
An official sponsor of the 2016 Olympic Games Rio, Education First (EF), brought 30 high school students from around the world to enjoy a unique cross-cultural experience. They organised workshops promoting teamwork and cultural exchange, meetings with olympic athletes, as well as parties, visits to touristic places, and took them to watch a variety of different sports. Capturing these experiences was definitely an impactful once in a lifetime experience.
The commotion and security surrounding the Olympic events in Rio de Janeiro prevented a fully equipped film crew. I was selected to independently shoot sponsored events while maintaining a very low-profile. Embedded in the chaos, I found spontaneity and beauty.
