Cheestique: Brand Identity
Cheesetique is a neighborhood gathering place featuring both a specialty cheese shop full of delectables from across the globe and a restaurant showcasing gourmet cheese-centric dishes and boutique-style wines by the glass. This small, privately-owned company was growing and seeking to become the premiere cheese destination in the Washington D.C. area, but first, it needed a cohesive brand. To this end, I created a full design suite composed of logos, packaging, promotional materials, menu design, merchandising displays and store signage.
The resulting idenity scheme captures the friendly and approachable atmosphere of this small business with it's vibrant colors, casual font scheme, and clean aesthetic. To honor the stars of the cheese world (the goat, sheep and cow), a set of cartoonish characters were designed for use on signage and collateral throughout the shop.
The new brand identity has been implemented across all channels including print, web and social media and is communicated within the interior space through color, art and furnishings.
