I worked with Veronica, founder of V Spa on this project over the course of a few weeks. 12, 764km between us but we still managed to make a connection and create a brand that fits the business! Veronica wanted a brand that spoke to her clients and the visual graphics were to represent peace, love, care and responsibility. The brief directed me to incorporate a lotus flower, as the flower represents purity and rebirth, the colours anchor the design and reinforce a spiritual lightness, while still being down to earth. The purple violet tones I introduced to add connotations of femininity and trust. Colour psychology tells us that people associate dark purple with spirituality, deep thought, and transformation of the soul. So as much as that might seem like it's made up bulls#!t, colour plays a huge role in our human lives and sinks into our subconsciousness whether we want it to or not.
