Age of Aquarius
A self initiated project about a song written for the 1967 musical "Hair" by James Rad, (music by Galt MacDermot and lyrics by Gerome Ragni). The theme of this illustration and poster is mainly a "recreational imagination" that doesn't necessarily reflects the musical's observations about the hippie culture and sexual revolution, but is mainly focusing on the lyrics of the song, the giving qualities that are present to the ideas of love, understanding and sympathy.
A highly stylised poster of Aquarius as a "mother figure" was the result of this work that we loved and enjoyed!
