Roland Garros is a tennis tournament that takes place in Paris. In this brand redesign I strived to refresh the branding system while maintaining a sense of history and elegance. I designed two variations of the logo - the first being a full badge, and the second is a simplified monogram. The color scheme was inspired by clay tennis courts. The pattern that is included in this work is derived from the tail of the "G" of the logo. The pattern suggests motion but helps to reiterate a sense of elegance.
