Utilize Your Knowledge Lesson 3
“ Focus on the solution, not on the problem”. Sometimes, we overly think on the problem instead of giving time on how to solve it. We intend to look on how big or impossible to have solution on that problem without noticing that it is already diverting our attention to focus on what is really necessary.
The activity “Utilize Your Knowledge” challenge me in a way that unlike in finding the solution set of just a plain rational inequalities, this given with absolute value is kinda hard for me because it really needs to have a better understanding on the given. The process of obtaining the values of x and having a critical numbers added to my confusion on how to do it. It is also stressing because there are cases that need to be done in order to get the solution. While doing the activity, I am not really on the focused since as I look at the problem all I could think is how difficult it is even without trying it first. Since that is already my mindset, it is really difficult for me to answer it. During the time that sir Pantino is discussing on what to do or how to find the solution, I couldn’t understand because my signal is really poor and I am disconnecting from the class and when I try to connect again, the discussion for it already done so in contrary for that I watch youtube tutorial for me to able to answer it. I spend how many hours of watching the tutorials to be able to get on how to find the solution set of the assigned problem set for me. I can say that it is indeed a matter of understanding the problem set and focused on how to find its solution for you to get what is the answer and don’t overthink like finding the problem difficult because it will do no good on you. Thought , in this lesson I manage to learn new knowledge.
