It's a tree branch... with an A2 wrapped around it!
The lighting unit consists of a CNC milled wooden structure, two polycarbonate rails and a sheet that wraps around it by running through the two rails.
The wooden structure is disassembled and sold in a flat-pack that includes the polycarbonate rails as well, while different colours and designs of shades, rolled in tubes, are sold separately.
Once the structure is assembled, the shades can be wrapped around it and swapped with a different design or colour at any time.
Custom designs and patterns can be provided by the customer and printed by the manufacturer.

Packaging of different shades
The polycarbonate rails are fixed on the main rod of the structure with the assistance of a precise taper in the rod that prevents them from sliding out of place, and the flat surface prevents them from pivoting.
