Alice in Wonderland

Wonderland
A creative interpretation from a photographers point of view
The idea of doing a retelling of Lewis Carroll’s Classic Alice in Wonderland has intrigued
me since well before I picked up a camera.  I’ve always been enthralled with all the quirky
little nuances that the book could portray.  I thought to msyelf, wouldn’t it be neat to do my
own Alice story with my own spin on it- visually?
Over the months that followed I busied myslef trying to create my version of the fairy tale.  It
was important for me to capture the essence of the original story, while still maintaining
my own visual stylings.  I was fortunate enough to work with some very talented and very wonderful
people who were interested in seeing my vision come to life.  Without their help, this project
never would have gotten off the ground.  I’ve learned so much from this experience, from
compositing work and post production techniques, to phsyical production know how and
scheduling.  The venture has been a trying one, but certainly well worth the effort.  I hope
you enjoy!
