Ferrobière is a project of the youth center collective "Station Event".
The project's cause is the promotion and support of local products during the events in the youth center Maison de Jeunes de Marche-en-Famenne (Belgium) as well as the purchase reduction toward large multinational company of alcohol beverage.
The first 500 liters of Ferrobière were produced in June 2020 in the Brasserie du Vieux Marbre and sold at a democratic price exclusively during concerts and association events.
The name of the beer was decided with a contest on social networks.
The illustration symbolize the city of Marche-en-Famenne with mainly warm and summery colours (in strong contrast with the name) typical of the beer ingredients and alcohol lightness (5% vol).
There are many references to the train station (Association HQ), city squares and to the association's musical activities.
P.S.: The absence of people and human activities is clearly visible in the artwork because the project was developed during the lockdown due to Covid-19.
Thanks for watching and santé!
