ANTONINO PARRILLA
DE ALCALÁ DE GUADAÍRA AL INFINITO
For this project I went to live with my girlfriend, the artist daughter, to Sevilla. We spend about a mont to do the book. We scanned more than a thousand old pictures, and write about Antonino´s life. The museum dedicated the hole building to a very big exposition about entire life artist´s work.
We did the visuals over the city´s old castle. After that, for the opening, we projected the pictures of it over the museum entrance wall. David Dorantes played a tail piano inside the museum, while the public was watching the visuals outside. When they got in, they realised hi was playing there, it was not a CD. Marina, my girlfriend, wrote a poem about his father´s work, and it was read by Carlos Herrera and his wife, Marilo Montero, friends of the family since many years.
The opening was a complete succes and the direction of the museum was very happy with the people´s comments. I have to say that from the museum we had complete collaboration and they supported everything we suggested.
