Photo Miners is an arts company based in Coventry set up by three people Jason Scott Tilley, Benjamin Kyneswood and Mark Cook. They work with institutions such as museums and galleries, repurposing their photographic archives to help with public engagement and participation.

We developed their logo when they set up three years ago and have recently updated their brand due to a name change and as part of the preparations for their roll in Coventry City of Culture 2021.

The orange triangle represents the light from a traditional darkroom enlarger used for printing negatives as well as the colour of the safelight photographers used to protect the blue light sensitive paper.
