Towel Series is a project from 2019, where I used as an inspiring reference the fashion photographer Mario Testino. I have chosen him because I find the photographer´s work really interesting, the way he captures women in their most sensual and empowered moment. In his photos, we can see women´s beauty, power and strength given by their poses, looks and confidence.

In my project, I had the aim to create a strong feeling, linking the photographed character and it´s viewer. To do this, in my shootings, I looked for the expressive and gestural potential of the model, especially self-confidence and sensuality. I have chosen a neutral background so that nothing could distract the spectator from the main character in the photograph. 
To achieve the objectives of my work, a black and white filter was used to highlight the gray gamut and a high contrast of black and white. For this, completely white towels and neutral backgrounds that accompany the photograph were used.
