We need change!
Visual Identity / Naming 

The Noordzeeboerderij Foundation is the platform for the Dutch seaweed sector. A passionate group of people who are committed with heart and soul to promote the growth and success of the seaweed in and around the Netherlands. In order to bring more attention to the seaweed sector we worked on an identity that keeps them, and all farmers, on their toes. A constant reminder. A reminder of the impending consequences of climate change, the rapid growth of the world population and the urgent need for change. This urgency is at the core of the new identity.

The climate is in the red and therefor they are to!

It all starts with the powerful image of a red and green rectangular mark that symbolizes the current state of our climate. The red symbolizing the climate issues and green their work towards solutions. To emphasize the international character of the organization, the foundation has been given a new name; North Sea Farmers. Together with the powerful typography, which has a news media-like appearance, you cannot ignore the impact of this identity.

You don't design a brand identity for the short term, but in this case we sincerely strive to make the future look greener, and that the work of the North Sea Farmers and the seaweed sector is so successful that we need to change the logo. Turn it green.
