I produced and directed the documentary "Sharmer", based on my observation of the need for the film by the Egyptians living in Egypt and even foreigners who come to visit this touristic city or maybe work and live in it.
Most of the films made about Sharm El Sheikh were pure advertisement, so "SHARMER"
is considered the first documentary about the people and life in Sharm El Sheikh city in Egypt which is a cosmopolitan touristic city located in South Sinai contradicting with the conservative country it's located in.
The film begins after the city was under the Israeli occupation and the changes it went through up till now.
Old Sharmers, Bedouins, Mixed relations, the east and the west and how they mix on the land of South Sinai and much more issues.

I was experimenting being a director, editor and a producer for the first time, so the film may not be of highly technical aspects, but it was eye opening to many people.
