The second album explores negativity, nightmares, paranoia, schizophrenia, frustrations, past empires, dystopias, states of war, lost cities and dreams, bombings, winters, alienation and totalitarism. The music is a result of heavy sounds, dense and long soundscapes from drone metal, kraut, doom, noise rock and none of them too.

Alphaville, The Reichstag Fire of 1933, G.I.S.M., Nicolae and Elena Ceaușescu's executions, David Lynch's Eraserhead, North Korean iconography and D.P.R.K. movies, Isao Takahata's Grave of the Fireflies, Liquid Sky, Der Schweigende Stern's retrofuturism, WWII, Serial Experiments Lain's cyberpunk, Paul Eluard's Capitale de la Douleur, Charles Baudelaire, noir films, Soviet Union's Pripyat / 1983 Chernobyl disaster and surrounding landscapes, East Berlin's architecture, Charles Manson's family, Suehiro Maruo, Emmanuel Goldstein, Kim Il Sung, Leni Riefenstahl, PRC's Great Leap Forward, Sunn O))), Joy Division, HfG Ulm, Werner Herzog's Even Dwarfs Started Small and goes on.

FOTOGRAFÍA DE ESTUDIO - LA DERROTA MUERE CON ELLOS

Las fotografías de estudio de las sesiones de LA DERROTA MUERE CON ELLOS estuvieron exclusivamente a cargo de Delfina Carlota y se enmarcan dentro de un lenguaje gráfico que está relacionado con el sistema visual que propone el disco. Se decidió conjuntamente en trabajar con fotografías en blanco y negro en su mayoría horizontales, experimentar con fotogramas superpuestos de alto contraste y revelado analógico. Sin apelar a retratar situaciones puntuales ni meramente figurativas, lo que se intentó potenciar fueron más bien sensaciones, climas y fusiones, delegando al azar de lo analógico su composición y abrazando la experimentación, el collage, el intercalado y lo inesperado, que es justamente todo aquello que propone el disco desde el sonido y lo visual.
