Film´s Cafe redesign

Film Cafe is a japan street food restaurant in Kensington, Toronto, Canada. The old logo needed a redesign to represent improvements in service, a new menu and a better administration, in addition to projecting an updated image and connecting better with its customers. We made 2 propouses and these are the results.

OPTION 1
Kensington is an area with a very good and international gastronomic offer, with an artistic atmosphere, so it´s necessary that the proposal is very creative and distinctive, we wanted to emphasize a unique typography, handmade. This first proposal refers to the concepts of a cup of coffee and a movie tape, with a slightly kawaii personality. The old logo was black with gold, so the colors were not changed.

OPTION 2
The second option also refers to the concepts of a cup of coffee and a movie tape, but has a less dynamic personality and a more symmetrical style. The previous logo was black with gold so the colors were not changed. The idea is that the icon is very striking and recognizable, that it communicates that it is a movie-themed restaurant, even without having the typographic logo nearby, we use very clean and stylized strokes.
