Project background: 

This research, funded by Mozilla Foundation, centers on people, in
particular marginalised groups to think about what happens to their personal information
on the internet and how when it is all collected together it can be used to power new
technologies (Artificial Intelligence). These technologies will then be able to make
automated decision making using algorithms. These new technologies have an impact on
the right to privacy online (digital rights) and a need to have our data protected (data
protection).
