Ludvig Germain Auclair hand forges blades in steel and fire from his workshop in Stoneham, QC. He sharpens his creations with water stones to create high-end professional tools. Among his clients, some of the best restaurateurs in Quebec City, all passionate like him.

In 2020, he built his own forge and adopted a new identity to make his creations accessible to a larger public and ensure a more regular production.









Since his trip to Nepal, Ludvig has been obsessed with the Yak.



This majestic and noble animal which according to him possesses extremely enviable qualities.
The name YAKSMITH is therefore a contraction of Yak and Blacksmith.
The animal is also the main inspiration behind the shape of the logo.
