Ongoing drawing serie depicting a various range of insects evolving to precious hybrid lifeforms by wearing highly detailed armors made with goldsmith work, gemstones, mechanical gears and luxury watch dials in the style of entomologists studies.

Each piece is made with watercolor, China ink on watercolor paper aged in a bath of black tea. The smallest piece took me more than 50 hours of work, painting and drawing thousands of black lines.

This serie is an ode to exceptional craftsmanship and luxury houses translating the beauty of nature into their creations, but is also an allegory for the preciosity of biological systems.
