Week 1-3 Build Process

1. Sketch and ideation development

2. Theme Selected (see background of image 1)

3. Build Buck - Wood and Foam

4. Add clay - LOTS of clay

5. Use Tape/Refer to tape drawing and Fishbone model (not Pictured)

Final Development of Clay

1. Perfect the wheel-wells

2. Remove foam wheel blocks

3. fill in air bubbles/pockets 

4. ensure clay surfaces are smooth

5. Prep for primer

Primer Stage

1. first coat of primer

2. sand surfaces perfectly smooth. 

3. Fill in any holes/dents/cuts with epoxy

4. Prime again

5. Sand again. 

6. Clean surface with alcohol 

7. Paint. 

1. Roof, hood decal, grille, rear fascia and fender flare extensions are all gloss black

2. Highlighter Yellow is an homage to Subaru's legendary STI development and racing heritage. The stars on Subaru's logo were once yellow on their blue rally cars.

3. Body painted Diamond White to give vehicle an upscale, modern appeal, and also help capture shadows and highlights effectively.
