Hardcore Will Never Die But You Will
Remarks on rave parties by a regular goer.
"Hardcore Will Never Die But You Will" is a collaboration between me and Mattia Barel on a two-volume project. The work’s global purpose is to break down society prejudices on illegal parties and to point out emotions and strong interconnections that occur between people during the happening of these non-places.
First volume focuses on highlighting empathy generated in rave parties through a photographic language. Immersed in the illegal parties of the Po Valley (and beyond), the photographer has made numerous shots that have been conveyed in this visual book. The second part of the work points out the research and explanation of the rave party phenomenon, from its deepest origins to the present situation.
