While working on another project, a 1UP member asked me if I could make Blue in 3D? If it is hard to do? Yes! It took me around 2 days to make this little guy. It was also the first time I sculpted something inside of Cinema 4D. I learnt a lot especially when it comes to hair [I hate hair in c4d, and this is just a still if this had movement/wind it would probably take me a month to make the animations because render times]
BEHIND THE SCENES
Before modelling it I needed some references, thankfully Liquid sent Blue to me! From there all I had to do was to put the reference images inside of Cinema 4D and start adding forms that matched his body.
The sculpture was pretty challenging, the brush tool was basically my best friend while doing it.

I wanted to sculpt the jacket as well, but I decided this time to use Marvellous Designer because it’s just as good and It is super easy adjust if needed.

The hair was probably where I spent most of my time! I came to the conclusion that is easy to make a carpet like texture rather than something soft and fluffy. I had to tweak the hair settings a lot and brush the hair for better results.

The setup was simple for social medias, since the model is created for other projects. This set up was made by using three lights, three cameras, a cube and a back panel.
