O podcast tem grande inspiração no gênero de arte e música japonesa eroguro (エログロ), uma mistura das palavras “erotic” e “grotesque”, Com isso, passando um sentimento de repulsa, de algo desagradável, mas que ao mesmo tempo, com um texto limpo, se torna belo e elegante. O podcast é comandado por Vinícius Gutheil, um aspirante a escritor, roteirista e podcaster. Tendo planos para adentrar o mercado literário em breve, o Torpe nasce com o objetivo de criar um canal para Vinícius trabalhar e desenvolver o seu estilo narrativo.
EN // Torpe is a short narrative horror podcast which approaches on transhumanist themes and the fear of the demons that inhabit our heads. The podcast is heavily inspired by the Japanese art and music genre eroguro (エ ロ グ ロ), a mixture of the words “erotic” and “grotesque ”. Thus giving off a feeling of disgust, something unpleasant, but at the same time the clean writing makes it beautiful and elegant. The podcast is led by Vinícius Gutheil, an aspiring writer, screenwriter and podcaster. Having plans to enter the literary market soon, Torpe was born with the objective of creating a channel for Vinícius to work and develop his narrative style.
