Draping Indian Groom

Draping the Indian Groom
The current sense of Indian clothing is based on cold and is slowly drifting away from drapes. Button masala technique is about drapes and simplicity. We will discover the new drapes for our new lifestyles, through this very sustainable method. Our changed lives should not force us to wear clothes not relevant to our weather. I explored drapes, a piece of local fabric and other local methods that will end in elegant drapes for Indian weather and endless occasions and celebration.
Understanding Drapes
Understanding the basics of draping, fall of fabric and forms in the fabric. The smallest of details can bring drastic changes to the form and composition. The natural behaviour of fabric needs to be understood to achieve the desired fall.
Explorations With Technique
Different explorations with forms and drapes. Understanding the drapes and fall of fabric in the context of the human body unlike a big space earlier. Buttons bring a fun yet elegant character to the form and hence various exploration with the scale of buttons are done.

Complete Ensmeble for Indian Groom
I stand there to commence our fairy tale.
Draped in her love as she smiled behind her veil.

The dress is ideal for the celebration of love. The completely unstitched dress includes a jacket, a kurta, a dupatta, a dhoti, and a pagdi. The highlight of any traditional attire, jacket enhances the regality of the look. The buttons put on shoulders brings a majestic impression. The kurta is a lightweight piece of clothing with its neck enhanced by buttons in sequence. The dupatta gracefully falls from the shoulder with a little play of buttons in the middle. The ready-to-wear draped dhoti is adorned with buttons at the bottom. The gathered top is held by buttons and makes it simple yet apt for the occasion.
