Ghost Adventure is a cooperative game played while standing around a table. Players take it in turns to complete missions together. Each mission represents a different journey that they will have to complete with a spinning top through several boards.
I had the opportunity to realize the illustrations and do the initial concepts including : Cover, Map, boards, Character design, Spinning top visuals and much more !
The cover was realized in collaboration with Yann Valeani, the other artist working on this game project. I made the global illustration - starting from his color rough - and he added some light changes in the end (as you can see between part 2 and final render).
The story takes place in a magic world with Celtic and Vikings animals.
You are a Mouse spirit. With your companions, you watchthroughout the territory of the animals of the region. Hidden in your large stone statues, you stand guard, your gaze fixed on the horizon. There was nothing you could do against the Wolves who had landed from the north, protected by unknown magic. They have come to destroy your statues to capture all the spirits
in a mysterious orb...
The boards were an important part of the design, because they needed to settle two levels of board, in order to put some more difficulty to move the spinning top. So, the design needed to be realistic, but also really precise (as you can see at the edges of the trees for the first board).
