THE COLANDER THAT SLIDES TO SAVE
Developed with the aim of reducing water consumption for domestic usage, the SOAC colander is a product suitable for every household kitchen. With its slide out function, users are able to wash their fruits and vegetables in a thorough and effective manner while minimising water usage. Inspired by the concerning growing rates of freshwater withdrawals over the last 50 years, by developing a close colander design, consumers have the choice to filter out water after the rinsing stage is complete, in turn removing the need to leave the water running as often experienced with the traditional colander. By allowing the water to drain in an upright position, this also reduces the unfortunate experience of a user’s fruits and vegetables falling out when draining the liquid. Not only is SOAC multifunctional and environmentally aware, but it’s use of recycled polypropylene material allows for a durable long-lasting product which is moisture resistance, lightweight and available in three different colours.
