THE EUROPA EXPERIMENT | Testlab Berlin
This book was the result off a cross-discipline collaboration on a project sponsored by Visit Berlin and NYC&Co. My collaborators and I had the opportunity to visit both New York City and Berlin and work together to assess the state of art tourism. In particular, we focused on the ways that these cities had the potential to attract millennial and gen z tourists with their respective art scenes. The resulting book, titled The Europa Experiment, address an opportunity at the cross-section of the two cities' shared concerns over the gentrification of their city centers, the elitism in their art scenes, and the past histories of their once-burgeoning underground art cultures.
