Paper Cup Design for Pahit Ice
I was hired by Pahit Ice, an ice cream company in Cyprus,
to design paper cups to be used for beverages such as coffee.
The main idea was based on Arabica coffee beans, which they use to make coffee in their shops. The plants depicted on cups are inspired by Arabica flowers and the figures are taken from the history of Ethiopia, the country where this coffee is grown. The smell of this coffee is very strong, so I used somewhat bright colors but close to company's color palette and more child-friendly, since in the paper cups also serve milkshakes and juices for our little friends.
However, since the company follows Italian standards, elements from the Middle Ages were added such as mechanical hands, parts from Da Vinci machines and elements from the Italian Medici family.
