The Story
Abstract work. I paint something and then I change what needs changing, and then I change that, and then that, and then I change some more and so on... I am not as bad as the Kooning, but I'm getting there. Understanding what I end up with is like reverse engineering. When I look at this I thin: there is a struggle. Or maybe a 'gallant fight' is a better phrase. There is a fiery and gatekeeper trying to stop a loaded merchant. He is carrying a black entity. And even as he is carrying it, it is already struggling with another, smaller gatekeeper. And everybody needs to eat.
