For this project, we were tasked to design for an uncertain future. We first came up with a direction in groups and then made our own brief to try and solve this future threat. We chose agriculture and its practice. We then worked individually to come up with a concept that can aid this problem. 

Follow me as I take you through my process on how the problem was identified and explored further into a concept.

As an industrial designer, it is important to follow guidelines that aid our design process. In this case the sustainable development goals is known globally and it aids us as designers to create meaningful products/systems.

I tried to explore ways to farm vertically as low cost as possible. Most vertical systems rely on hydroponic systems and most solutions exist already. 

Farmers burn the residue instead of removing it. This causes high amounts of CO2 to release into the atmosphere. 

Straw is used instead of hay as hay contains seeds that allow weeds to grow.
