Portrait Of A Murderer is a personal project and homage to David Fincher's 'Mindhunter' and the Sony TC-5550-2 reel to reel tape recorder.
The recorder was modeled, rigged, shaded and rendered inside Cinema 4D in combination with Octane Render. The whole process took a couple weeks in total. The main goal was to push my personal limit regarding modeling and crafting a believable analogue look which doesn't indicates CGI at a first glance.
