Takenoko souvenirs
Design concept for modern Japanese cuisine, restaurant 'Takenoko' in Zagreb, Croatia. Wooden gift box is created to be filled with different accessories for sushi making or serving food that is specific for this fine dinning restaurant.
Inspiration for the design is drawn from old Japanese architecture and spaces. The main elements were wood, airy space and geometrical patterns.
Lightness of the box is obtained through the perforation of the lid surface, and material is laser processed plywood which gives that special Japanese feeling of the product.
