ATOMIC FLUIDITY
This artwork was created for DeepStitched Records, a proudly South African record label. I was tasked to create the EP cover artwork for 'Atomic Fluidity' by Tee Maestro. The artwork was used online on streaming sites as well as promotional content.
I enjoy using symbolism in my work, being able to convey an abstract idea through drawing specific creatures really helps me create a story for my album covers. For Atomic Fluidity, I wanted to explore the fluidity of a being. Dogs are symbolically associated with many things but they're one of the first that come to my mind for vigilance as they are usually likened to guardians and protectors but also laid back creatures. For the cover art, I wanted to show this fluidity of associating a being with conflicting ideas in a tangible anatomical way.
