Illustrations done for a collaboration between The Safe Space Project and
The Grit News.
Since direct symbolism or references to the topic might induce triggers in the reader, especially if they have had similar experiences, we chose to indicate at the subjects in more indirect creative manners, along with having a sort of pastel, storybook illustration aesthetic, having kept in mind its appeal to the demographic for the campaign: kids themselves.
