Once upon a time Root Veggies were in the garden and thought...we are always stuck in soil here, why not we go somewhere? Fly,.. see stars!
The same night something happened in that same garden, veggies were awaken by soft light and they suddenly started to feel light and erase themselves from soil, they had tiny glass helmets on them, that they would keep themselves fresh while cruising through space.
Finally, the dream of veggies came true and they lived happily ever after...(in space)

This project was created for They Draw & Cook website every month illustration challenge with theme: |Root Vegetables|, however I expanded this idea and created also A3 poster and small postcards out of it.
