Modular seat for urban passenger transportation

The special design of this new seat optimize the space required for different configurations of seating available. It also allows different types of positions: standard seats and jump seats, according to three different widths: individual seats, wide-width seats specially designed for persons with small children carrying packages or people with reduced mobility, and two-seater benches.

Its new method of lateral fixation with no foot support, offers a lightness of appearance to the seat, allows the transverse or longitudinal installation in the vehicle, and facilitates the maintenance of the floor.
The various mounting accessories, materials and finishes selected offer many customization options in respect of existing international normative constraints: strength, anti-vandalism, maintenance, etc..

This seat is already in use in the automatic metros Airval and Cityval of SIEMENS Mobility and in the trams of LOHR Industrie Translohr of Clermont-Ferrand, Paris (France), Padova, Mestre-Venice (Italy), Tianjin and Shanghai (China). It is the subject of several patents.

The seat is developed and manufactured by LOHR Industrie, Strasbourg, France
