I was asked to design a canvas bag for gift in our department. The idea coming from my mind is to use full-scale design with massive word present on the bag, making it a distinct touch. At the first glance the work is beautiful on bag as follow

And after a second thought, it looks childish. Making it not suitable for gift, so more design is presented.

I really love the one with handwritten font face, a randomly mess but follow a flow of curve.

Sadly in the end, both design was reject due to the clarity of our logo/department.

So I just draw a new frame using different story chunk and a name of our department.

The chunk one was selected, sigh...

Didn't take a photo on the result product, but it's coming in blue and black background. The blue one is too ugly and I couldn't even argue about it.
