Tendo em vista o principal lema (Acolher, Tratar e Transformar), o desafio foi acoplar simbolicamente os elementos de uma forma intuitiva e marcante. A escolha pelo uso das três folhas surgiu através do significado do símbolo da psicologia. O símbolo Ψ, vigésima terceira letra do alfabeto grego, tinha como significado inicial sopro, respiração ou "eu respiro". Com o passar do tempo, a palavra foi ressignificada com o conceito de ânimo, alma, ego e espírito.
Para a construção, o significado inicial foi primordial. Por fazer menção a respiração e sopro, tornou-se interessante o uso de folhas de árvores, pois as mesmas ajudam a produzir oxigênio, melhorando a qualidade da nossa respiração.
O "caule" foi simbolizado pelo formato do símbolo da psicologia (Ψ), em busca de uma referência mais direta e notável.
