I worked on this project during my role as Information Specialist at the Texas Department of Family & Protection Services, Prevention and Early Intervention (PEI) Division. Each year a new parenting tips themed calendar is created, published and distributed by PEI to the parenting community in Texas.
I wrote all the copy for the 2021 calendar based on research and departmental preferences, created a celestial theme, along with a title that reflects the theme and Texas, and provided design concepts for each month that tie into the overall theme. This was a really fun project to work on! Parents will appreciate these quick, yet important tips and their littles will enjoy learning about constellations and other celestial objects visible in the night sky each month. Incorporating fun & creativity into anything informational or educational is always a goal for me. ;)
