Our studio designed a furniture collection for the Balaton furniture factory. The collection received the Hungarian design award this October. The construction of Tilt is made of only 3 plywood parts. The legs are machined in order to provide a flush detail with the seat part. The curved front provides a reinforcement resulting in an unnecessary apron. The cantilevered seating construction resulted in a comfortable springy effect. The chair can be hung by the optional armrest on the table. This is a useful feature when cleaning the floor.
