Goya is a Greek fine dine restaurant located in Glyfada, Athens. Its cuisine is a fusion of Latin American & Greek cuisine. I was assigned the project, and started my design search with the ancient Latin American civilizations. I discovered that the maze was a common symbol in many of them (Maya, Inca, Aztecs, etc). As the design proccess went through, I decided to draw the GOYA letters into the maze, as a part of it. I also designed the font in a way to resemble a maze. The final result is a multi-use logo. Both the maze logo and the GOYA typeface, can be presented together as a whole, or separated, still resulting in the same outcome.
