About the design:
This cup design depicts my favorite aspects of Taiwan’s forestry.
As someone who has lived abroad and then returned to Taiwan, I have truly come to embrace and appreciate how much diversity Taiwan offers in its natural landscape from seaside to mountain top. I love its lush greenery, thanks to our abundant rainfall, and various geometric and organic patterns found in the flowers and leaves. One does not need to travel far to find the perfect escape from the normal urban city hustle. The forest is where we reset and reconnect with ourselves and our surroundings. If you’re lucky, you might even encounter Taiwan’s special wildlife - a Formosan black bear, sika dear, or macaque.
