to the most intense chapter of the story I made the black stripe, which begins at the head of the chapter, goes on trough the all tops of the spreads and ends with the illustration

I've drawn this book in the technique called "gohua" - ink on rice paper.
As a bonus - I've read a lecture about text analysis for illustrators using this book as an example with my editor Elena Abronova who also worked with me on it.
