The spreads for "The Reader's Diary"
For Book Guide educative Project by Martha Raizes and Maria Khmara.
"The Reader's Diary" is the interactive educational book and social media project to turn reading into something exciting and fascinating, because young readers can do a lot of creative work whilst reading. They asked me to participated their collective action "The spread from an artist", where various artists made a spread readers can print for free and then fill by themselves. We were allowed to choose ahy theme we wish; my was "Create a soundtrack for your book (find the music that fit to your favorite episodes as if you are a director and have to make a movie after the book")
From me: Concept, story, spread design and illustration, a sample of a score for one of my fav books ("Flowers for Algernon"; so I've added the "hero" onto the filled spread sample, try to find him out!)
