GOALS :
Create a product with a form factor from natural elements.
Develop an efficient ergonomics suitable for the chosen target
Allowing to eat an ice-cream in places where it wasn't supposed to be possible





DEVELOPMENT

The target for this ice cream is represented by all those people who, due to adverse situations, cannot consume fresh ice cream; such as speleologists, soldiers, archeologists, hikers, extreme sports users and travelers.
To best succeed in our mission we have chosen to use a technology already known in the space sector, the dehydration of the product. This technique allows us to preserve the food for a very long period of time, about two years, without the use of refrigerators or similar.




SHAPE

The goal was to create a product with a simple shape that did not create difficulties in tasting it but at the same time had to transmit stimulating sensations to the consumer. An excellent texture has been introduced with a strong reference to the natural phenomenon of dehydration to accuntare the central characteristic of our ice cream. In addition, the texture creates an interesting play of sensations with lips, palate and tongue. spacecream has also been studied in terms of dimensions, the cylinder in which it is inscribed has a base diameter of 3 cm, one centimeter less than the average diameter of the human mouth, thus allowing you to consume the ice cream in a simple way and without getting dirty. the product is served on a stick so that the end user can consume his dessert even with dusty or dirty hands without contaminating the product.
