From early 2018 to the present, Williams-Sonoma chose Douglas Schneider to paint nearly forty packaging illustrations for their Instant Pot Starter Kits. Shown here are illustrations that emphasis the ingredients with vegetables, fruit, herbs and spices.
The illustrations are watercolor and colored pencil paintings that were meant to be printed small. They were painted smaller than usual so he could concentrate on good value contrast, and wouldn't get caught up with too much detail that would be lost anyway.
