Map, city of Hel

Code Hel is a turn-based game built around the concept of procedural literacy.  The sprawling, unpredictable city of Hel challenges players to create efficient, forward-looking infrastructure to serve the diabolical needs of its residents.

Hel is a haphazardly-built city that sits atop of a complex player-generated infrastructure featuring miles and miles of lava-channeling, steam-producing, daemon-melting pipes, valves, holding tanks, and switches.  The city is populated with increasingly unreasonable -- but always colorful and memorable -- denizens (and their increasingly challenging problems) via randomly-drawn cards.

The game sees players take the role of Daemon, a low-level grunt charged with performing basic computational tasks to meet the needs of the city's occupants.  As the game progresses, players can assume the character of a more powerful daemon, even as they face more challenging (and less forgiving) tasks.

There are several different maps of completely different Hels.  This version of Hel features the River Lava that powers Daemon's machinery.
