is a manifesto project we worked on as a group during B.A. (Hons) in Graphic Design
and Interactive Media course at Targa Gap Mosta.
Our aim was to come up with something new and out of the box. After sessions of
meetings and brainstorming we decided to come up with the idea of writing a Manifesto
that motivate creative people. A manifesto were someone can take a few minutes to
read/reflect on himself and his streghts as an individual.
Mirror Concept
The Mirror concept started taking shape after we agreed on the Manifesto title 'Irrifletti'
in english it means 'Reflect'. The origin of writing our Manifesto on a mirrior was so that
students can naturally reflect on the mirrior while reflecting on themselves.
The manifesto was written in our mother language - Maltese language.
The mirror was placed ona wall at our Art and Design Institute to attract students.
The Manifesto
Isma'.. M'Ghandek bzonn l-ebda titlu wara ismek biex taghamel differenza. Li ma jghogbokx madwarek ibdlu. Qatt ma tista' tkun tajjeb f'xi haga jekk ma tipprovax taghamilha, l-ideat jevolvu minn, u ghandhom bidu minn, process. Warrab it-teknologija u ibda hazzez. Kun differenti mill-maggoranza...spikka. Elimina l-ewwel idea, din tghaddi minn mohh kulhadd. Kun kurjuz u saqsi l-mistoqsijiet, anke dawk meqjusa stupidi. Kollox jaghamel sens u xejn ma jghamel sens. L-ispirazzjoni qatt ma habbtet l-ebda bieb, int trid tkun li tmur tfittixha. Li tfalli f'xi haga hija l-inqas haga apprezzata minn ta' madwarek, imma zgur ghalik hija l-aqwa ghalliem li qatt jista' jkollok. Innota kollox, kun l-iljun determinat biex tikseb l-gherf ta' madwarek. Tistenniex il-bajtra taqa' f'halqek. Il-holma mhux dik li tohlom meta tkun rieqed imma dik li ma thallikx torqod.
