I designed these motionboards for a TV pitch on football. The style needed to be clearly retro, but with a fresh twist. I decided to go with a colorful Art Deco Flavour, mixed with heroic poses and angles from the players.
EARLY COMPS
The final style emerged from the two boards above. It had to be retro-inspired but not so direct or abstract/geometric, and at the same time heroic, not like these first two boards.
