Save Our Oceans - #savetember
I've participated at the #savetember2020 challenge on Insta as our planet earth with its animals above and below the water are close to my heart.

Shark finning is the main cause of the worldwide decline in shark population. It refers to the removal of the shark's fins and the subsequent disposal of the still living animal in the sea. Since the shark can no longer swim in this way, it dies in agony.

Specialists estimate that the worldwide shark population will collapse within the next 10 years.

Researchers estimate that around 300 million people will already be affected by sea level rise by 2050!

Did you know that salmon is one of the endangered fish species? The migratory fish is unfortunately threatened with extinction.

Although it is banned in many areas, the extremely cruel driftnet fishery is unfortunately still practised today. When fish bump their heads through such a floating net, the pressure of the net mesh on their throats spreads their gills and the fish literally hang themselves.
